Mankind has always been desperate to be own god, and be free from any moral standard or accountability. Evolution provided the modern vehicle for this freedom.

The more weighty argument against evolution is that it has never been observed, all attempts to make it happen in the laboratory have failed, and that it defies logic. (Keep in mind, I am talking about "evolution" in the sense that one specific kind of animal comes from another, not the equivocation used by scientists of evolution also being defined in minor changes within the same kind of species.) Claiming that millions of mutations over millions of years led to human beings coming from primordial slime, without any intelligent direction whatsoever is a far stretch of the imagination. Imagine throwing all the ingredients for a chocolate cake in the ocean, and travelling time a million years into the future to find a perfect chocolate cake in the sense that it is totally functional, and eating it. Ridiculous, right? I know that cakes reproduce, but in a sense, when it comes to molecule to man evolution, that is the assumption you are making to get away from there having to be a God.

Receptions generally last from 3-5 hours, depending on how you set up meal-time. Buffet dinners go more quickly and allow people to dancing and having fun before everyone is finished eating, while meals served at the table take longer to complete. From personal experience, people generally leaving after the cake is served or about 2 hours into the reception. The older crowd will most likely clear out first, with the exception of parents and bridal If your reception at 7pm, then 11 is definitely a reasonable time to begin clearing out, but feel free to keep the going until midnight. You do need to consider your venue though. A lot of places will charge you extra (and tell you until you get the bill) if you go over your allotted rental time. If they charge extra, then keep the going as long as you have guests. Have fun!

There is no such thing as an "automatic correction" for a dog who is not taught proper behavior. KMODT is a step by step process where a dog is taught what is expected before a correction is ever applied and it is considered completely unfair to correct a dog who has no concept of the behavior. Example- a dog who has been "taught" a fun and games retrieve-
From the Koehler Method of Utilty Dog Training Page 16

" All references to retrieving in this book are based on the assumption that the reader has a postively motivated retriever and not one of the fun and games kind. WARNING! If you have a dog with who is a natural or fun retriever and you find that he feel natural or like playing the game, try to suddenly suprise hime wiht a correction. While force retrieveing is easitly taught with a logically structured program, it can be unfair when it is attempted in an unstructured, haphazard way. This book deals with how to use positive retrieving, not how to teach it,, a subject that should be covered during Open work."

Right there it tells you that Mr. Frawley is talking out of a hole that is NOT his mouth when he makes his uneducated comments about the Koehler Method of Dog Trainng. I find it is people who lack knowledge and confidence that have to stand on the backs of others to try to make themselves look better.

I like small fields where evenly matched competition. When 6 horses and all between 2-1 and 10-1, good value. But small fields where one or two obvious horses means that those two will be around 6-5 and the horses that likely to win are 10-1… then the favorites win and the payouts are all a couple dollars… just not it to bet $2 to win an extra $0.10.

It kinda depends on the track. I live in Cleveland, so my nearest track is Thistledown. The fields there are usually very small, the wagering pools are small, and the payouts are small. So you really have to wait for a large field to be able to find some value. But at other tracks like Keeneland, you can get a field of 6 horses, but find a lot of value… like the 3rd race on Sunday… 6 horses, the winner was 6-1 and the exacta paid $40… not too shabby.

In theory, I like small fields because I feel like I have a better chance to win (my horse only has to beat 5 horses rather than 10), but in reality, you need a large field to find the value.

Well, when Boston Terriers (example) get their tails docked, it is when they are very new to the world. So it as much. Some breeds such as the Rottweiler are more popular with a docked tail. Without a docked tail, some people may view these pure breed dogs as a "mutt" just because they look different. So, naturally they pay dog breeders for them. AmazingAtheist is a pretty big douchebag, but he represents the frustration a lot of scientists feel when dealing with creationists.

A lot of times it takes longer to set up, than it does to do the tattoo. You use barrier film, and machine bag covers, and ink cups, and a sterile tip and tube and grip, the needle bars with the different groups, two machines, a cup of water, time spent in first the ultrasound cleaner, then the dry heat sterilizer, the wipes, vaseline, a sterile tongue depressor, a disposable razor, and just what thinking of off the top. It usually depends more on the venue, and how long you have your liquor license for.
Ours went til around 1 a.m.; we left just before midnight.
We had about 200 at the wedding, full range of ages – everyone loved dancing, from young to old – and we made sure there was a huge mix of music.
So with the restrictions on the liquor license (they are a number of hours), we had cocktails from 5-6, bar was closed during dinner and program but there was wine at the tables and people brought drinks from bar, then the bar reopened until 1 a.m.
never been to a wedding where the dance ended at 11! That would be crazy. Usually late lunch is 10:30 or 11 p.m., which gives people a rest and a second wind to continue dancing!

lol stop panicking so much chill you go into the shop yes alone and ask them is they have any vaconcys for an apprentice in few months time (when you hit 18) then they will give you a simple answer yes or no they wont freek on you 4 coming into the shop under age because you havent asked for a tattoo or anything also dont take this bit for granted but to be honest your 17 so they wont no the difference for the sake of a few months anyway you prob look 18 anyway .

also to answer the final bit of your question you say you wouldent be able to take the pain to become heavily tattooed – how do you no ???? you havnt tried it yet 99% of people get a shock at how little being tattooed wen they get there first tattoo i thaught it would realy but now im covered i have 2 full sleves and love my tattooes

You have to be 18 to apprentice, too (for insurance purposes, been told). But, once you turn 18, definitly try to get buddy-buddy with the who is going to be teaching you, and maybe take some & health classes before you go ahead with this. Not much help, but yeah, you pretty much do just walk in & ask to apprentace. But, be discouraged because someone says no, this is a demanding profession to be in. Good luck to you!

honestly there are very few shops who would be willing to apprentice you. i am assuming you are not tattooed or if you are, you heavily tattooed. and like you said, you hang around your favorite tattoo shop. the best thing to do is wait. wait until you are old enough to get tattooed and to have a favorite shop to hang around at. you need to research and find one learning from. not all tattooers are and not all are your time if you are truly interested in learning. in the mean time you should think about going to some type of based school after you graduate.

I think the first thing would do is to look around online for tattooing methods and do as much research as possible. then ask around and search for the top 3 or 4 tattooist in your area (if your going to apprentice you might as well do it somewhere good)

After you find a place you are interested in, just go in and ask the tattooist there how you could become an apprentice, tell them why you are interestedand stuff and ask what you would need to do. nowadays there are classes that you can take (and i think you might have to take thme but not sure, i think you do need to take medical classes though) they should be able to tell you how to go about getting an apprenticeship. i will tell you though you will probably need to take a few medical classes.

If you do get accepted on as an apprentice you will most likely out doing grunt work. meaning cleaning the bathrooms, and general cleaning and a lot of the b*tch work, thats how it used to be anyways and a few places still hold to that. that is to show them you are truly interested in becoming a tattooist. then they will let you watch as they tattoo then after awhile will letting you do some work.

I've learned that flattery can get you far. Find an that you really admire, and tell them so. Tell them that you appreciate their work, and that you see they are an in what they do. You really want to learn and observe, so would it be ok if you watched them? Tell them you would be willing to help out in any way you can, and seen other but this one stood out.
That might get your foot in the door.
Or, find a tattoo school.
